Environment Management System
Managing the issues of environmental protection and ensuring environmental safety is carried out at all stages of production according to environmental policy of Gazprom Energoholding, on settled environmental standards.
Production activity is carried out in accordance with the standards established by the Directive of the European Parliament and Council of the European Union 2010/75/EU of November 24, 2010 “on industrial emissions (on complex prevention of pollution and control over it)”.
Monitoring of impact on the environment is carried out at construction stage and will be carried out in standard use. Continuous control of emissions in atmospheric air to 7 components (NOx, CO, CO2, O2, temperature, pressure and consumption of combustion gases) and control of noise levels on territory is provided.
Monitoring of quantitative and qualitative aerial and fluid indicators provides control of physical levels, organic and inorganic pollutants, on 5 and 21 components of control respectively.
Waste management is exercised according to plan.
For reference. Environmental policy of Gazprom Energoholding is directed at decrease in negative impact on the environment due to measures of reduction specific emissions at greenhouse gases, increases in energy efficiency of productions, rational use of natural and energy resources. The policy also defines a need of minimization environmental risks at all stages of implementation of investment projects.
