During construction of CCPP Pancevo the modern technology of a steam-gas cycle is applied. Putting of such equipment into operation allows to decrease the operating costs by the higher performance efficiency, reducing referent emissions in the environment. Combined cycle steam and gas energy facilities are one of the most environmentally friendly power plants.

Gazprom Energoholding Serbia is guided by the official laws “On Environment Protection” and “On the Integrated Prevention of Pollution of the Republic of Serbia”.

After putting the CCPP Pancevo into operation, the company will take measurements of emission of pollutants and monitoring of air quality at the territory of the power plant. Also measurements of quality of the waste waters and level of noise influence in the power plant zone of coverage will be carried out.
